The app that runs your cockpit

A cloud-managed app that turns ESP32 hardware into a living cockpit — connected to X-Plane 12 over WiFi, defined in visual Flows, and running even when the internet is not.

X-Plane 12 only (for now)
What is CockpitConnect?

CockpitConnect is a cloud-managed platform for flight-simulation hardware . You design the logic for your cockpit in a visual Cloud UI, it syncs down to a small Local Bridge on your network, and your ESP32 controllers execute it over WiFi — with X-Plane 12 as the single source of truth.

The result is a home cockpit that behaves like real avionics: every switch, encoder and LED is confirmed against the simulator, stays in sync after disconnects and restarts, and keeps working on the local network even with no internet at all.

The suite is modular . Start with the Build tools to get your panels talking to the simulator, then switch on only the extra modules you want — a live moving map, real-world weather, airport awareness and more.

A different approach to cockpit software

Most home-cockpit tooling ties a fragile configuration to one PC, a tangle of USB cables and hand-edited files. CockpitConnect was designed from the opposite direction.

Network-first

Your panels talk to the simulator over WiFi and WebSockets. No USB port juggling, no serial cables, no per-machine driver hunts.

Cloud-managed config

Your cockpit is defined once in the cloud and synced to a local Bridge. Switch PCs or simulators and nothing needs re-wiring in software.

Flow-driven logic

All behaviour lives in visual Flows — no hand-written sketches to compile and flash every time a binding changes.

Offline-capable runtime

The Bridge and your controllers keep running on the local network even with no internet — switching your cockpit to a newly loaded aircraft included. The cloud is for configuration, never a runtime dependency.

Simulator-authoritative

X-Plane 12 is the single source of truth. Hardware input is intent; state is only confirmed by simulator feedback, so switches and LEDs never lie.

Modular marketplace

The modules in your plan are on from the start; switch off what you don't use, and add more as your cockpit grows — instead of one monolithic, all-or-nothing package.

Marketplace modules

Enable what you need, when you need it. Each module is a self-contained part of the suite — here is what every one of them does.

Ready to connect your cockpit?

Create a workspace, register your first controller, and wire it to X-Plane 12 in the visual Flow Builder — all in the browser.
